Narphu Valley Annapurna Tilicho Lake Trek

Tilicho Lake (4919m) is the highest lake of Nepal which is located at Manang District. Narphu Valley Annapurna Tilicho Lake trek is a package designed for those who wants to explore remote trail, untouched local culture, and exotic Nar Phu valley that lies in the remote corner of the Annapurna region. Nar Phu valley is untouched by modernity as it is opened since 2003 A.D. In Narphu Valley Annapurna Tilicho Lake trekking you will explore quaint Tibetan villages, astounding rock formations, Passes, high altitude grazing settlements, narrow canyons, deep forests and towering snow clad peaks.



Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu, 1350m/4428ft.
After arriving in Kathmandu representative of Nepal Trekking Trial will pick up you by our private vehicle and transfer you to the Hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 2: Kathmandu
After breakfast in the morning we go for the Kathmandu sightseeing tour. Sight-seeing around Kathmandu valley which includes the Hindu temple, Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath (2000 years old Stupa) and visit Patan city of fine arts and finally back to hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 3: Kathmandu to Besisahar, and trek to Ngadi
Early morning after breakfast we will drive to Besisahar one of the main entrance of famous Annapurna trekking. It takes about 6-7 hrs drive. And we will trek from Besisahar to Nagdi. Overnight in Nagdi
Day 4: Nagdi to Jagat
Today we will cross the Nagdi River to reach Jagat. On the way we will pass through village of Bahun Danda, a large Brahmin settlement perched on top of the hill and we reach to Syange village. After a walk from Syange village we will reach to Jagat. Overnight in Jagat
Day 5: Jagat to Dharapani
Today from Jagat we will passes through different villages like Tal, Chamje to reach Dharapani. Leaving the villages; we will follow Mani walls which are prayer stones to reach the village of Dharapani which lies near the confluence of the Marshyangdi and Dudh khola. Overnight in Dharapani
Day 6: Dharapani to Koto
Leaving Dharapani behind we will pass through Bagerchap villagefrom where we can have a beautiful view of Lamjung and Annapurna 2. Then we will pass through some other villages like Danique, Timang to reach Koto. Overnight in Koto
Day 7: Koto to Dharamsala
Today we will enter to the Nar Phu valley. Today we will cross the Marshyangdi river and then trek through the serene valley to reach Dharmasala. Overnight in Dharmasala
Day 8: Dharmasala to Meta
After having breakfast we will trek to Meta from Dharmasala and take a rest. Overnight in Meta
Day 9: Meta to Nar
From Meta we will make a move to reach Nar village. The village of Nar is the biggest village in the region where the main occupation of the people are trading and farming. Overnight in Nar
Day 10: Rest day Nar Village
Today on the 10th day of Narphu Valley Annapurna Tilicho lake trek, we will take a rest as well as optional we can explore all day. We may have an opportunity to witness a very rare blue sheep and snow leopard. Overnight in Nar
Day 11: Nar village to Kang la Base
Today we will head up the Nar Phu valley and reach to the base of the Kang La.On the way we can have beautiful views of mountain panorama including Chulu East at the head of the valley.
Day 12: Cross Kang la and to Ngawal
Today is the longest and hardest day of our trek. We will cross the big Kang La pass (5280m) through very steep ascent to the top of the pass. From the top we can have great views of the Annapurna massif. Then we will descent down to Ngawal village after a while. Overnight in Ngawal
Day 13: Ngawal to Manang
After passing Ngawal village we will walk along the bank of Marshyangdi River. On the way we will pass through pine forest, farming terraces, some villages, monasteries to reach trading town of Manang. Overnight in Manang
Day 14: Manang to Shree Kharka
Today after having breakfast we will trek from Manang to Shree Kharka. Overnight in Shree Kharka
Day 15: Shree Kharka to Tilicho Base
Today will be a short day but challenging one.Today we will trek from Shree Kharka to Tilicho Base. Overnight in Tilicho Base
Day 16: Tilicho Base to Tilicho Lake
Today we can have mesmerized views of Annapurna, Manaslu and many other mountains on the way to Tilicho Lake. This is a place of calmness and the religious site for the Hindus. Overnight in Tilicho
Day 17: Tilicho to Meso Kanta pass and to Kharka Camp
Today we will walk uphill with of nearly 300 meters to reach Meso Kanta Pass. From the pass we can have a dramatic view of Dhaulagiri Peak, Nilgiri Peak and Tilicho Lake. Overnight in Kharka Camp
Day 18: Kharka Camp to Jomsom
Today a long ridge descends us and gradually leads us to Kali Gandaki River and to Jomsom village. Overnight in Jomsom
Day 19: Jomsom to Pokhara by flight
After taking breakfast early in the morning, we will take a short walk to airport and fly back to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara
Day 20: Drive to Kathmandu
After breakfast drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu which will take approximately 5-6 hours. Then transfer to Hotel. Afternoon free at Kathmandu Hotel
Day 21: Final departure
A representative from Nepal Trekking Trial will transfer you to the airport before two hours from your flight with lots of a hope of seeing you again in the future.

  • Full board meals BLD ( breakfast, lunch, and Dinner) during the trek as per available food menu in tea houses/Lodges

Not Included

  • Nepal Visa fee USD25 for 15 days, USD40 for 30 days or if extending your stay USD100 for 90 days. All are multiple entries. You will also need a passport photo. The visa fee can be paid in US Dollars, Pounds Sterling or Euros. (bring accurate USD cash and two passport photographs)
  • International flight ticket to arrive in Kathmandu
  • Excess baggage charges( 15kg allowed ok Kathmandu Lukla flight ) 1kg = $1 USD
