Siklis Trek

Siklis Trek takes us to the corner of Annapurna Conversation Area. Siklis has the largest number of gurung society. During Siklis trekking we can see terraced fields and neat slate roofed houses and friendly smiling faces of the local gurung families. Various geographical terrains, villages, rhododendron forest, varieties of birds and animals, high alpine meadows resting below the soaring peaks of Annapurna region, this trek visualize the beauty of Nepal. Only few Brahmins and Chhetris are inhabitat there. During the Siklis trek you may get a chance to witness folk music or dance programs at local villages as per request to the local peoples.


Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu. (1335 meters)
After arriving in Kathmandu representative of Nepal Trekking Trial associate with Actual Himalayan Group will pick up you by our private vehicle and transfer you to the Hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu
Sight-seeing around Kathmandu valley which includes the Hindu temple, Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath (2000 years old Stupa) and visit Patan city of fine arts and finally back to hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara. (900 meters)
Early in the morning after having breakfast we will take a ride to the lake city, Pokhara following Trishuli River. Afternoon can be enjoyed by the lake as the hotel is located near to the lake. (5-6 hours drive). Stay Overnight at hotel in Pokhara
Day 4: Pokhara to Kalikasthan (1370m)
The trail starts on the Prithivi highway, crossing through the flat area of rice fields and the river. Then we will trek by different tribal villages before reaching the ridge of Kalikasthan. Overnight in Kalikasthan
Day 5: Kalikasthan to Lammchaur (1680m)
After proceeding through local villages of mixed ethnic groups and rice growing terraces up to Mardi Khola, different waterfalls, we will reach in Lammchaur which will take 6 hrs approximately. Overnight in Lammchaur
Day 6: Lammchaur to Siklis (1980m)
From Lammchaur we will take short hike path climbs to Siklis, Siklis is the largest gurung village where you will be overwhelmed to experience the traditional culture of Gurungs. And also this is the best place to see the Himalayan panorama like Annapurna, Lamjung Himal etc. Overnight in Siklis
Day 7: Siklis to Ghale Gaon (2000m)
Today we will trek from Siklis to Ghale Gaon. Ghale Gaon is a small village mainly inhabited by the Gurung and Magar communities. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Fishtail from here. Overnight in Ghale Gaon
Day 8: Ghale Gaon to Pokhara
The trek takes about 3 hours from Ghale Gaon to Pokhara. Spend your night on the beautiful beaches lakeside. Overnight in Pokhara
Day 9: Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu which will take approximately 5-6 hours. Then transfer to Hotel. Afternoon free at Kathmandu Hotel
Day 10: Departure
A representative from Nepal Trekking Trial will transfer you to the airport before two hours from your flight with lots of a hope of seeing you again in the future.

  • Three nights’ accommodation in a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu with Buffest breakfast
  • Welcome or farewell dinners (depend up to your arrival and departure time)
  • Kathmandu to Kathmandu surface transportation ( road and flight )
  • Transportation road and flight for Guide and Nepali crews while applicable
  • An experienced English-speaking trek leader (trekking guide), assistant trek leader (4 trekkers: 1 assistant guide) and High Altitude trekking local Sherpa porters to carry your luggage (2 trekkers:1 porter maximum weight 20 kg) including their allowance wages ,salary, insurance, equipment, flight, food and lodging expenses during a trek
  • Full board meals BLD ( breakfast, lunch, and Dinner) during the trek as per available food menu in tea houses/Lodges
  • Three times a cup of tea or coffee during the trek
  • Teahouse/Lodge accommodation during trek on twin sharing basic (will provide single bedroom where ever available if you traveling solo travelers)
  • Down jacket and trekking Equipment for local Staff
  • Annapurna conservation area Permit Fee (ACAP)
  • TIMS card Permit (Trekkers Information Management System) for responsible tourism and porter protects
  • Basic group medical supplies for normal health problem and injured (First Aid medical kit will be available)
  • Medical and health insurance for local crew members
  • All government and local taxes (25% income tax and 13% Vat )

Not Included

  • Nepal Visa fee USD25 for 15 days, USD40 for 30 days or if extending your stay USD100 for 90 days. All are multiple entries. You will also need a passport photo. The visa fee can be paid in US Dollars, Pounds Sterling or Euros. (bring accurate USD cash and two passport photographs)
  • International flight ticket to arrive in Kathmandu
  • Excess baggage charges( 15kg allowed ok Kathmandu Lukla flight ) 1kg = $1 USD
  • Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu
  • Lunch and Dinner in Pokhara
  • Meals and accommodation in Kathmandu if early return from the mountain(due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary
