Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1300 m / 4264 ft):
Welcome to Kathmandu valley. Upon your arrival at international airport we assist you from airport to our hotel. Rest awhile and then visit to our office. Enjoy evening welcome program at hotel and rest overnight.
Day 2: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation.
Today we offer you a half day sightseeing tour to some of the most touristic sightseeing and cultural heritage sites around Kathmandu valley. The historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddha Nath) which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. Prepare for the trek and enjoy evening dinner at hotel. Rest overnight.
Day 3: Drive Kathmandu to Bhandar via Jiri
Today early morning drive from Kathmandu to Jiri. We drive 187km north east of Kathmandu valley. We continue driving to Bhandar, our trek start point. Enjoy the views of Koshi River and panoramic views of the eastern Himalaya including Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung and Dorje Lakpa. Enjoy evening diner and rest overnight.
Day 4: Bhandar to Sete (2575m/8450 ft): 6/7 hrs
Today we trek from Bhandar to Sete walking for 6-7hours. Descend the trail from Bhandar through deep forests crossing a few streams passing the small settlements of Dokharpa and Baranda. We pass through some of the most fascinating scenic environment and natural wilderness. Enjoy evening at lodge and rest overnight.
Day 5: Sete trek to Junbesi (2670 m/8760 ft): 6/7 hrs
Today early in the morning we trek uphill climb to Lamjura La through forests of pine, magnolia, maple, birch and rhododendrons. Passing by the villages of Dagchu and Goyem all the way to Junbesi. We trek for 6-7hours upon the exotic trekking trail of Everest region. Lamjura La pass at 3530 meters, the highest point between Jiri and Namche Bazaar, offers a panoramic view of the surrounding green mountains. Enjoy evening dinner at hotel and rest overnight.
Day 6: Junbesi trek to Nantahala (2220m/7280 ft): 6 hrs
Today after breakfast we trek from Junbesi trekking for 6hours all the way to Nantahala. This trekking trial offers you the fascinating view of mighty peak of Nepal. The mountains that are visible include Everest, Lhotse, Nupte, Makalu, Thamseruku, Mera Peak, and many other high mountains. This is the first view of Everest on this trek, although the lower peaks look closer and higher than the distant 8,000er mountains. Passing through beautiful natural wilderness and cultural surrounding we reach to Nantahala. Enjoy evening at lodge and rest overnight.
Day 7: Nantahala to Bupsa (2360 m/7,740 ft): 5/6 hrs
Today we follow the Dudh Koshi River as we head upward to Khumbu. Cross the bridge, climb to Jubing and continue straight to Churkha. Climb the trail eastward to reach Kharikhola and move down to cross a suspension bridge. Another steep climb finally takes us to Bupsa. Rest overnight.
Day 8: Bupsa to Surke (2290m/7282ft): 5/6 hrs
Today we trek the trail from Bupsa that rises through a wooded extend passing Kharte. From Kharte, an uphill climb takes us to Khari La pass. Enjoy the superb views of the Khari La pass of Gyachung Kang and Khumbila mountains among others. Trek down to Puiyan and go through the ups and downs to Surke. Enjoy evening diner at lodge and rest overnight.
Day 9: Surke to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft): 4/5 hrs
Today we trek from Surke to Phakding walking for 4-5hours climbing toward Chaurikharka. Passing via beautiful scenic places and site we reach all the way to Phakding. Enjoy evening at lodge and rest overnight.
Day 10: Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3440 m/11,280 ft): 5/6 hrs
Today we walk through a beautiful pine forest; the track leads us along the Dudh Koshi River through many suspension bridges, one of which is the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. First, we catch wonderful prospect of the glistening Mt. Thamserku (6618 m). Pass through the last village of Jorsale before reaching Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar, a gateway to Mt. Everest and main trading centre of this region. Rest overnight.
Day 11: Acclimatization Day - Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,284ft)
Rest and acclimatization day at Namche bazaar. To we let you explore the scenic and cultural beauty of Namche Bazaar. This fascinating gate way tow to Everest region offers you some of the most scenic natural wilderness, Sherpa culture and learns about the various plant and animal life of the Everest region. We also take an interesting side trip up to Khumjung. We climb up to the famous airstrip at Syangboche. The Khumjung valley is surrounded by the snowy peaks of Kongde and Thamserku and the scared peak Khumbila hosts a well known monastery that houses a yeti scalp. After a complete exploration and sightseeing we walk back to Namche Bazaar. Rest overnight.
Day 12: Namche Bazzar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft): 5/6 hrs
Today after breakfast we start our trek towards Tengboche enjoying superb view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and close up view of Thamserku. We trek through some of the most exotic and adventurous trekking trail that offers Magnificent view of the great Himalaya , wild lives like pheasant, musk deer, or a herd of Himalayan Thar. This fascinating trekking trail passes via some of the most attractive cultural villages all the way to Tengboche. Tengboche is a great place for close up views of Ama-Dablam, Nuptse, and Everest and it has a biggest Buddhist Monastery all over in Khumbu region. Enjoy evening diner at lodge and rest overnight.
Day 13: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft): 5/6 hrs
Today after breakfast we start our trek from Tengboche. We choose the upper trail for better views to visit Pangboche village and its ancient Monastery. During our trek to Dingboche we pass through several Chortens and Mani walls and small villages. The valley ahead will begin to open up as we approach the confluence of the Lobuche River; we descend into the river and begin the last and steepest climb of the day up to Dingboche. Enjoy the beautiful array of fields enclosed by stone walls to protect the barley, buckwheat and potatoes from the cold winds and grazing animals. Enjoy evening dinner and rest overnight.
Day 14: Dingboche - Duglha (4,600 m/15,090 ft): 3/4 hrs
Today early in the morning we trek from Dingboche all the way to Duglha. We trek for 3-4hours into the fascinating trekking route surrounded by lush green forest and splendor scenic beauty. As we come to a yak herder's place called Dusa, the valley begins to narrow and we continue through Phulung Karpo, of the camp sites during first successful Everest Expedition in 1953. As we continue our trek the majestic view of Mt. Pumori (7138 m/ 23418 ft) comes into view. We can see the tip of Nuptse from here as well as Cholatse, Thamserku, and several other magnificent peaks. Rest overnight.
Day 15: Duglha - Lobuche (4940 m/16,207 ft): 2/4 hours
Today we trek up the steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier from Duglha all the way to Lobuche. At the top of the ridge we will find an array of stones with prayer flags used as memorials to Scott Fischer (American mountaineer) and 10 times Everest submitter Babu Chiri Sherpa (mountain guide from Nepal) who perished on a mission to climb Everest. We are now in the vicinity of Everest but the great mountain still remains hidden. Nuptse towers to the right as the trail crosses the Khumbu Glacier. We trek the exotic trail enjoying the scenic view of mighty peaks and beautiful natural surroundings. Rest overnight.
Day 16: Lobuche - Gorak Shep (5170 m/16,961ft) - Everest Base Camp (5364 m/17,594 ft) - Gorak Shep: 7/8 hrs
Today we trek early to the trail all the way to Gorak Shep and Everest base camp. We pass though the pyramid sign post. Ahead on the trail we see crest of north ridge of Everest along with Mt. Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtern, Khumbutse, Nuptse, etc. following the trail we catch our first glimpse of Kala Patthar, a grey-green knoll beneath the Mt. Pumori. As we reach Gorak Shep, we will be surrounded by snow-capped mountains looming all around us including the top of the world - Mount Everest. We then take the trail to Everest Base Camp through the once vast Gorak Shep Lake. We get back to Gorak Shep for a good night's rest. The sunset view from Kala Patthar is more commendable than the sunrise view. For those who wish to continue a hike to Kala Patthar for amazing sunset view today rather than waiting until the next day. Rest overnight.
Day 17: Gorak Shep - Kala Patthar (5545 m/18,192 ft) - Pheriche (4280 m/14,070 ft): 7/8 hrs
Today we trek from Gorak shep crossing Kala Patthar all the way to Pheriche. We start early in the morning to catch the dramatic views from Kala Patthar witnessing the first light of day shining on Mount Everest. Familiar peaks such as Lingtern, Khumbutse, Changtse tower to the east even as Everest begins to reveal itself emerging between the west shoulder crest and Nuptse. During the ascent to Kala Patthar we can pause to catch our breath at several outstanding view points to snap pictures. we reach the top, we sit on the Kala Patthar rocks our eyes taking in the unbelievable Himalayan Panorama, wandering from one mighty massif to another. We take as many pictures as we can with our camera and take the in view with our mind's eye to last lifetime. Enjoy evening at Pheriche. Rest overnight.
Day 18: Pheriche-Pangboche-Tengboche-Namche Bazzar (3,440 m/11,280 ft): 5/6 hrs
Today we trek down from Pheriche all the way to Namche Bazaar. We trek down through the hillside blanketed by rhododendron and juniper trees. After crossing the prayer flag festooned bridge over the Dudh Koshi River trail then follows the Dudh Koshi gorge descending rapidly through the pine forests. The path eventually reaches Sansa which is the major trail junction in the region. We stop at Kayangjuma (3570 m/11,710 ft) for a relaxed lunch. Following the trail of Everest we descend all the way to Namche Bazaar. Rest overnight.
Day 19: Namche Bazaar-Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft): 6/8 hrs
Today after breakfast our trek descending from the trail of Everest region from Namche Bazaar all the way to beautiful Lukla. We pass through some of the best sightseeing places, cultural villages of Sherpa people, outstanding natural wilderness. Enjoy evening dinner at lukla. Rest overnight.
Day 20: Lukla - Kathmandu
Today early morning flight the most exotic and adventurous mountain flighty from lukla all the way back to Kathmandu valley. Enjoy the scenery offered and evening at hotel. Rest overnight.
Day 21: Farewell!!
Today after lunch we assist you to the international airport. Hope you enjoyed the service and trekking destination. Farewell.
