It was only opened to trekkers in 1990 Dolpo is restricted area as well where you need to have a special permits to go. Not so many tourists have been in this area. This area is physically hard because of the high passes.We follow the ancient Tibetan salt caravan route, across two high passes and through the wilderness in one of Nepal’s most remote areas.

Lying in the rain shadow area of the Himalayas, the landscape have a similarity that of the Tibetan Plateau instead of the lush, green, monsoon watered hills, elsewhere in Nepal, at comparative altitudes. Dolpo is the home of herbal land, unspoiled trans-Himalayan culture, Buddhist monuments, unique human civilization at high altitude is worth a visit. Trekking around the Dolpo region is an unforgettable journey in every visitor’s life to Observe different rain shadow landscapes with stunning mountain views, wild flowers and much more.


Day 01 :
Arrival in Airport and transfer to hotel, rest day, itinerary briefing
Day 02 :
Sight-seeing of Kathmandu: Leave for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (An UNESCO world heritage site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple) and visit Patan city of fine arts. Back to hotel and stay.
Day 03 :
Trek 1: Kathmandu to Nepalgunj - Flight to Nepalgunj in south-western Nepal and overnight in a hotel.
Day 04 :
Trek 2: Nepalgunj to Jumla by flight and trek to Gothichour (2700m) - This morning we fly from Nepalgunj to Jumla. Leaving the airport at Jumla, we cross the Tila Khola and the Chaudabise Khola near their confluence and climb gradually to a fertile valley of rice terraces. The trail continues through several villages before passing through a forest of maple and walnut to a meadow which, in season, is covered. Overnight camp at Gothichour.
Day 05 :
Trek 3:Ghotichour to Napakhola (3,000 m) - Today's walk follows the Tila Khola through fields of corn, potato, buckwheat and barley. Passing Tibetans Maniwals on the way.After lunch continues trek along the river to Napakhola, a small Buddhist settlement. Overnight at camp.

Trek 4: Napakhola- Mauria Lagna crossing to Balasa, Overnight in camp
Day 07 :
Trek 5: Balsa to Hurikot, Overnight in camp
Day 08 :
Trek 6: Hurikot to Kagmara Phedi, Overnight in camp
Day 09 :
Trek 7: Kagmara Phedi to Kagmara La Crossing - Pungmo, Overnight in camp
Day 10 :
Trek 8: Pungmo to Phoksundo Lake, Overnight in camp
Day 11 :
Trek 9: Phoksundo Lake to Pine Trees, Overnight in camp
Day 12 :
Trek 10: Pine Trees to Gand La Base Camp, Overnight in camp
Day 13 :
Trek 11: Gand La Base Camp to Shey Gompa, Overnight in camp
Day 14 :
Trek 12: She to Lagmo Che Phedi, Overnight in camp
Day 15 :
Trek 13: Lagmo Che Phedi to Kyung La Base Camp, Overnight in camp
Day 16 :
Trek 14: Kyung La Base Camp to Tokkyu, Overnight in camp
Day 17 :
Trek 15: Tokkyu to Dho, Overnight in camp
Day 18 :
Trek 16: Dho to Tharap Khola Overnight in camp
Day 19 :
Trek 17: Tharap Khola Overnight in camp
Day 20 :
Trek 18: Tharap Khola to Tarakot, Overnight in camp
Day 21 :
Trek 19: Tarakot to Dunai, Overnight in camp
Day 22 :
Trek 20: Dunai to Juphal, Overnight in camp
Day 23 :
Flight Juphal - Nepalgunj - Kathmandu, hotel
Day 24 :
Kathmandu free day, evening culture show with Nepali dinner, hotel
Day 25 :
Final departure, transfer to airport.
