Upper Mustang Horse Trek Nepal (19 Days)

Mustang is a place which is known as “desert of Nepal”. It was established as a tourism area since 1992. Upper Mustang Horse Trek Nepal can also be enlisted as a culture of Mustang.


Day 01: Kathmandu
After arriving in Kathmandu representative of Nepal Trekking Trial associate with Actual Himalayan Group will pick up you by our private vehicle and transfer you to the Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Early in the morning after having breakfast we will take a ride to the lake city, Pokhara following Trishuli River. Afternoon can be enjoyed by the lake as the hotel is located near to the lake. (5-6 hours drive). Stay Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 03: Pokhara to Jomsom (2,720m/8,925ft)
After having breakfast we will take a flight early in the morning to Jomsom which is about 25minutes. After reaching in Jomsom we will move on horse riding to Kagbeni. During horse riding we can picturesque peaks of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak and Dhampus are spectacular all the way. Kagbeni provides its narrow alleyways and tunnels, irrigation canals, green fields of wheat and barley. Overnight in Kagbeni
Day 04: Kagbeni to Muktinath (3,760m/12,340ft)
Day 05: Kagbeni to Chele (3,050m/10,000ft)
Day 06: Chele to Syangboche (3,800m/12,470ft)
Day 07: Syangboche to Ghemi (3,520m/11,550ft)
Day 08: Ghemi to Dhakmar (3,820m/12,530ft)
Day 09: Dhakmar to Charang (3,560m/11,680ft)
Day 10: Charang to Lo Monthang (3,809m/12,500ft)
Day 11: Lo Monthang
Day 12: Lo Monthang to Ghemi
Day 13: Ghemi to Samar
Day 14: Samar to Chhusang.
Day 15: Chhusang to Jomsom:
Day 16: Jomsom to Marpha
Day 17: Jomsom to Pokhara by flight
After taking breakfast early in the morning, we will take a short walk to airport and fly back to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara
Day 18: Drive to Kathmandu
After breakfast drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu which will take approximately 5-6 hours. Then transfer to Hotel. Afternoon free at Kathmandu Hotel
Day 19: Final departure
A representative from Nepal Trekking Trial will transfer you to the airport before two hours from your flight with lots of a hope of seeing you again in the future.

  • Full board meals BLD ( breakfast, lunch, and Dinner) during the trek as per available food menu in tea houses/Lodges

Not Included

  • Nepal Visa fee USD25 for 15 days, USD40 for 30 days or if extending your stay USD100 for 90 days. All are multiple entries. You will also need a passport photo. The visa fee can be paid in US Dollars, Pounds Sterling or Euros. (bring accurate USD cash and two passport photographs)
  • International flight ticket to arrive in Kathmandu
  • Entrance fee/ monument heritage site fee/ museum fee while sightseeing around Kathmandu valley
  • Excess baggage charges( 15kg allowed ok Kathmandu Lukla flight ) 1kg = $1 USD
