Fly to Lukla and starting a trek is popular trekking route than the driving to Jiri from Kathmandu and starting trek from there. Itinerary

Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel

Full days sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple) and visit Patan city of fine arts. Return to the hotel.

You will have a 35minute scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. You will encounter breathtaking scenario of the beautiful mountains covered with snow. After your arrival in Lukla airport you will have short indroduction session with the rest of the team members have lunch there and then move to Phakding. Our overnight stay will be in Phakding.

Beginning with a slight climb to Jhorsalle, the trail passes through a waterfall.We will pass villages interspersed with magnificent forest- rhododendron, magniolia trees and giant firs throughout the day. And on the way to walking you will be rewarded (weather permitting) your first glimpse of Kusum Kanggru (6369m) Thamserku (6608m) Everest (8848m) and Nuptse (7879 m). A steep climb up to the beautiful village of Namche Bazaar (3440m).

Acclimatization is most important before proceeding to a higher elevation. It is therefore recommended that you take a short days hike to Thame, Khunde or Khumjung or relax and explore the sherpa culture of Namche.Namche Bazaar is also known as Sherpa capital. It has internet cafes, banks,shops etc. overall it is a major financial hub for the people of Khumbu region. Our overnight stay will be in Namche Bazaar.

After walking one hour you arrive in phungithanga from there the trail climbs through forests where you can spot musk deer. Tengboche sits on a saddle at 3870m in a clearing surrounded by dwarf fires and rododendroms. Kwongde (6187m) Tawache(6542m) Everest (8848m) Nuptse (7855m) Lhotse (8618m) Amadablam (6856m) Thamserku (6608m) provide and inspiring panorama of Himalayan giants. We visit the Bhuddist Monastry at Tengboche; the largest in Khumbu region. The monastery holds a religious belif and known for tranquility. Our overnight stay will be in Tengboche.

Beyond Tengboche the altitude really starts to tell. The trail droops down to Dingboche, crosses the Imja Khola and climbs past superb mani stones ( carved with the Tibetan Buddhist chant om mani padme hum) to Pangboche at 3860m The gompa here is worth visiting. Then the trail start climbs to Pheriche 4240m. Where there is a medical facility, which gives lectures everyday on Altitude Sickness.

Again walking up and then coming back down is better than just resting in high altitude, you can make a day trip to Nangkartshang Gompa or up the hil to look down onto Dingboche,Both of the walks offers you with good views.

The trail climbs to Phalang karpo at 4340m then Duglha at 4620m,From Dughla the trail ascends the broad, gently sloping valley and climb steeply in to the terminal moraine of the Khumbu glacier then left in to the memorial area Chukpilhara, before reaching the Lobuche at 4930m.

The trail from Lobuche follows the grassy ablation valley with great views of Pumori then crosses tributary glaciers to reach the dry lake bed of Gokrakshep. Stop for lunch then climb Kalapatthar to get the best views of Everest and the surrounding mountains, then and back to Gorakshep for the evening.

We will wake up early in the morning have our breakfast and after then we walk to Everest Base Camp, we will visit the area spend some time there capturing the moment for lifetime and then we will trek down to Lobuche.

Today we will be moving down towards Dingboche from Lobuche. On our trial we will move downwards through Khumbu glacier moraine viewing the several great peaks gaining an altitude as we begin to descend. Dingboche is a Sherpa village. You can see Imja River flowing at the east of the village and a helicopter landing pad at the west of the river.There we can find different lodges and tea houses. Staying overnight in Dingboche makes an interesting accommodation alternative.

We will wake up early in the morning and will be moving towards Tengboche from Dingboche. We will walk down through lush of green forest of rhododendron and pine trees along with the mesmerizing and pleasents sounds of birds singing. On our journey we will have the spectacular views of the terraced farmlands and alluring nature of the area. We will have our overnight stay in Tengboche.

Today we will wake up early in the morning and after having breakfast we will bid a goodbye to our lodge owner then descend through the same trial that we used climbing up to Tengboche from Namche. After a few hours trial we will reach to Namche Bazaar. Our overnight stay will be at Namche Bazaar.

Today will be our last day in Mountains.We will be moving towards Lukla from where we started our journey. We will pass several villages and bidding goodbyes to the locals. We will have our overnight stay in Lukla remembering all those wonderful moments and bittersweet experiences of our journey.This last overnight stay in the Himalayas will be something different as you have accomplished the most adventurous journey of your life time.

Today we will witness the mountains for the last 35 minutes during our flight and fly back to Kathmandu. Our representatives will take you to the hotel. and rest overnight in hotel optional farewell dinner with crew

Today will be your last day in Nepal. Our representatives will drop you to the airport some hours before your flight for your final departure from Nepal. or you can Extend your trip To Pokhara, Chitwan or any destination as you prefer

For more information and updates, please visit the department’s official website, www.nepalimmigration.gov.np.

A visa for Nepal can be obtained on arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and at the border entry points in Kakadvitta, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Gaddachowki on the Nepal-India border and Kodari on the Nepal-China border.

Outside of Nepal, A visa can also be obtained at the nearest Nepal Embassy or Diplomatic Mission.

To renew a Visa you can go to the Department of Immigration, Kalikasthan, Kathmandu.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

  • A valid passport and one passport -size photo with a light background.
  • Visa can be obtained only through payment of cash in the following currency: Euro, Swiss Franc, Pound Sterling, US Dollar, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar, Singapore Dollar and Japanese Yen.
  • Credit card, Indian currency and Nepali currency are not accepted as payment of visa fees

Gratis (Free) Visa

  • For a first visit in one visa year (January to December) , gratis visa for 30 days is available only for nationals of South Asian countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. However, visa can be extended from the Immigration Department on payment of visa fee as specified above.
  • Indian nationals do not require a visa to enter Nepal.

Indian nationals do not require a visa to enter Nepal. As per the Nepalese Immigration, Indian Nationals traveling to Nepal by air must possess any one of the following documents.

Nepal Visa for Chinese Nationals

As per official circular of the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing, China, Chinese nationals applying for tourist visa to Nepal are being provided “gratis tourist visa” from 5th Jan 2016, from following Nepali missions in the People’s Republic of China:

Other Visa Information

Nationals from Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan will need to obtain visa from Nepal Embassies or Diplomatic Missions in their respective countries, as they do not get visa on arrival at the immigration entry points of Nepal.
