Tamang Heritage Trial

The Tamang Heritage Trial is one of the unique and newly discovered Trekking trials in Nepal. This trek takes you to the region inhabited mostly by the Tamang people who are believed to be originated from Tibet. It is quite surprising to see that how they have managed to remain their culture pure and untouched even in this modern era. You will get to know about their lifestyle, cultures and traditions in this trial. You can closely observe their day to day life style in an isolated region of Langtang which is indeed very much different than yours.

During our trial we will visit different villages where we can see the houses showing rich architect, get familiar with Buddhist cultures and traditions, observe local rituals, experience warm and welcoming hospitality of the locals, visit  colorful monasteries, beautiful Lakes, Natural hot water spring and many more. The trek also offers excellent views of snow capped mountains like Lantang Lirung, Ganesh himal, Tibetian Mountains and other peaks. You will also get to observe the traditional customs and dance of the locals in some of the villages.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival.

Day 02:  Drive to Syabrubesi (1462m/ 4795ft)

Day 03:  Syabrubeshi to Gatlang (2238m/7340ft)

Day 04:  Gatlang to Tatopani (2607m/8550ft)

Day 05:  Tatopani to Thuman (2400m/7874ft)

Day 06:  Thuman to Timur (1762m/5780ft)

Day 07:  Timur to Briddim (2337m/7665ft)

Day 08: Briddim to Syabrubesi (1467m/4795ft)

Day 09: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu.

Day 10: Final Departure
