August is the last month of Monsoon season in Nepal. Everest Base Camp Trek is not so popular in August but it is not impossible as well. Everest Region has something new to offer in every season. However during off seasons the trials become a bit more challenging and tough.
The best part about trekking during august is that the trials have fewer tourists. If you are thinking of trekking during August then you must be prepared with proper trekking gears to trek in rain.
The first two weeks of August is suitable for trekking to Everest Base Camp. The days are longer and the sun shines up to 7 to 8 hours a day. You will have longer trekking hours in August with hot and humid weather. The temperature of the Everest Region is mentioned in the following table.

Trekking to Everest base camp in August can be tempting but you need to be extra careful while doing the trek. The flight to lukla can be rescheduled in case of bad weather so be prepared with some extra days.
